Dom Pachino: Power Rulez - In Stores November 11th
October 17, 2008 by Social Ebonics
From the “STREETS OF SHOALIN” (as you hear the Gza’s voice echo in your head) to the international ones across the globe, flowin through the airwaves designating into any true being that supports that real hip hop’s play list, Dom Pachino aka the Pr. Terrorist member of killarmy Napalm Recordings, has submerged from the trenches and is back at it again, but this time is droppin his first official joint venture album between Napalm Recordings and Chambermusik Records called Power Rulez which will be distributed through Koch Entertainment Distribution available November 11, 2008.
Although it’s his first album released through chambermusik, Dom Pachino is not a new jack to this game. In fact, some of you may know him as one of the original members of the well reputed Wu-tangs killarmy group. During his stay in killarmy, the group sold over a half a million records while also acquiring features in two gold records as well as one platinum, but it sure didn’t end there.
Dom Pachino is the first member (and might I add Latino) of the killarmy to pursue a solo career creating an indi label called Napalms Recordings, where he then put out a slew of projects consisting of compilations, mixtapes and dvds. With all that under his belt he also started producing, toured over seas and started to pursue an acting career making guest appearances on several television shows. With that being said you can see your boy Dom P got history and a damn good resume.
Ironically, the title Power Rulez coincides with our nations current state of mind and elections marking down a historical moment in our society as we know it. Power Rulez without a doubt maintains killarmy’s infamous hardcore militant sound.
The albums hit single Shot U Down is laced with warfare killer beats accompanied by Dom Pachino and his verbal artillery, commanding your attention of what’s to come. Along with his arsenal follows guest appearances by 9th Prince, Islord, Shyheim and others to complete the general’s mission.
Power Rulez, is not for the weak minds; the title is pretty much self explanatory. Power Rulez, is for the masses that live and die that generic hip hop code.
